Those that are wheelchair bound will likely spend some money having to get them repaired. This can run into some serious money depending on the type and make of wheelchair. Wheelchair repair training seems to be about as visible as the Loch Ness Monster. In North America at least there seem to be very few courses that qualify people for wheelchair repair. For those that work in hospitals and nursing homes, the actual workplace may offer courses on wheelchair repair. This does need to be checked in advance however several likely offer it.

Wheelchair repair courses are slightly rare. Finding a course through traditional routes may prove fruitless. However, manufactures and online sites seem to have the best and most comprehensive information available on wheelchair repair.
